Why only 22 icons, you ask?

The reason i stopped at 22 is that it’s the perfect number. Forget what you learned about number 42.

22 is new 42!

This is the new answer to life, the universe and everything! Let me explain: Let’s start with the fact that 22/7 exceeds the π(pi)’s length. Also, when cutting a circle with just six line segments, the maximum number of pieces that can be so created is 22,[3] thus 22 is a central polygonal number

Also, I was too lazy to create more icons, so i stopped at 22… but lets go with the math reason above.

Why did we design these icons?

Since our belief is that every website deserves custom icons, somewhere in the middle of a project we’re working on right now, we created these round, popping, realistic set of fruits and vegetables icons. 
After completing the set, we decided the icons should be set free. Free to roam across the endless fields of internet. Get planted on other projects, websites or apps, private or commercial.
So in hope you won’t skip your vegetables, we bestow upon you this 22 fruits and vegetables icons set.

PNG with transparent space on top of fruit? What’s up with that?

Thought you’d never ask. The idea behind that is that default alignment for icons is top-left corner. As you can probably guess, fruits and vegetables do not share the same dimensions, therefore I picked the common dimension they all fit in, so the circles would be aligned perfectly, without the need for developer to change it’s alignment.
